1.DAY MOMBASA CITY TOUR

The Mombasa island full day tour allows you to visit historical and cultural places: The Fort Jesus, the Mwembe Tayari open-airmarket, handicraft carvers, walk through the famous curvy alley-roads, the business district. The City Tour includes a drive along Mombasa streets lined with intricately carved mosques and historical buildings. Visit the Akamba Handicraft Centre, a source of products direct from the craftsmen.  Proceed to the huge and famous Tusks over Moi Avenue erected in 1952 in honour of Queen Elizabeth II first visit to Kenya. Dominating the entrance of Mombasa Harbor, Fort Jesus offers a panoramic view of the Old Town. Other places to visit include a drive on Mama Ngina Drive to see the giant baobab trees that live for about 1000 years, and a short walk through the Old Town gives you a chance to a maze of twisting alleyways, ornately carved doors and overhanging balconies. This ancient and impressive maze of architectural wonder will bring you to the Old Dhow Harbor, which is still occasionally used by Dhows from Arabia and India. The Mombasa Island Full Day City Tour takes us to Haller Park past the Mamba Village crocodile farm along the way. Enjoy the fascinating and world famous Haller Park. This is a former quarry that has now been transformed into a variety of recreational facilities including forests / nature trails and game sanctuaries, and crocodile and fish farms. See abundant wildlife including hippo, antelope, birds, reptiles, snakes, giant tortoises, crocodiles and giraffe. In the late afternoon, board your transport to be dropped at your beach hotel or cottage.

2.WASINI ISLAND FULL DAY

A full tour with transport available from North, South Coast and Mombasa. On arrival:

  • Board a spacious traditional dhow, soft drinks, light breakfast, fruit all snorkeling & diving gear on board the dhow.
  • Visit Kisite Marine Park – branded as home of the dolphins! Fantastic snorkeling & scuba diving, sustainable, responsible dolphin watching – 90%+ dolphin success rate!
  • Non-swimming guests can enjoy the underwater using glass bottomed viewers from the accompanying support dinghy.

3.KISITE MPUNGUTI MARINE PARK 

Enjoy the Kisite Mpunguti Marine Park above and under water. This is one of the Best Diving Sites in East Africa and a Very Safe Place, Free of Sharks. We offer a fun dive and a normal dive in Kisite Marine Park: Fun Dive: a short dive (around 30 minutes), suitable for un-experienced divers and even for those who have never done before. After a short briefing, you go under water with the instructor. The instructor holds your hand during the dived. Scuba dive: For qualified divers, who have license. You will dive with a diving master or instructor, who will fit the best diving for you. We offer a number of diving sites in the Marine Mark, one of the best diving sites in east Africa and a very safe place, free of sharks.

The Best Time for Diving

The diving season runs from January through April and August through December. The Best months are November and December. Divers can see the whale shark in October, November and December. “Paradise divers” have almost 20 years of experience, and the diving school is run by diving experts. The diving instructors are highly familiar with the Wasini area and the Marine Park, and are either divecon instructor (ssi) or diving instructor (ssi).

4.SHIMBA HILLS NATIONAL RESERVE

Shimba Hills National Reserve Day Trip Safari Departs from your hotel at 7am. You will drive for about forty-five minutes to Shimba Hills National Reserve. Your game drive will start from the gate, where the roof of the safari bus is lifted up to enable you to look for the many game animals found here, such as elephant, giraffe, buffalo and warthog, the rare Sable Antelope.

You will visit the magnificent Shedrick’s Falls on the slope of the hills before taking lunch at Shimba Lodge. The lodge is built around a very large tree and is the only tree hotel on the Coast. After lunch you will continue with your game drive until 4pm when you will check out of the park and drive back to your hotel in time for dinner.
