Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe - Gateway to Uganda's Wilderness
Arrive at Entebbe International Airport, where you will be warmly welcomed by your guide. Entebbe, located on the shores of Lake Victoria, is the perfect starting point for your safari. After your arrival, your guide will transfer you to your hotel in Entebbe. Take the rest of the day to relax after your long flight. If time allows, you can visit Entebbe Botanical Gardens, take a walk around the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre, or enjoy the tranquil atmosphere of Lake Victoria.

Day 2: Transfer to Northern Queen Elizabeth National Park - Game Drives & Scenic Views
After breakfast, you will embark on a scenic drive to the northern section of Queen Elizabeth National Park. The drive will take you through the beautiful Ugandan countryside, where you’ll pass villages, rolling hills, and lush landscapes. Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda's second-largest park, is rich in wildlife, including elephants, buffalo, lions, and numerous bird species.
Upon arrival, you will check into your lodge, situated in a prime location within the park. After lunch, set off on an afternoon game drive to spot wildlife. The northern part of the park is known for its picturesque landscape and the large herds of elephants that roam freely. You may also encounter other species such as warthogs, hyenas, and various antelopes.

Day 3: Full Day Game Viewing in Queen Elizabeth National Park - Explore the Southern Sector
Today, you will enjoy a morning and afternoon game drive in the southern section of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Early morning game drives offer the best chances to spot predators such as lions and leopards, which are more active at dawn. The Park is also home to the famous tree-climbing lions in the Ishasha sector, and you may have the rare opportunity to see these majestic creatures lounging in the branches of fig trees.
In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, which connects Lake George and Lake Edward. The channel is home to hundreds of hippos, elephants, buffaloes, and a variety of birds, including flamingos and pelicans. The boat ride provides a unique opportunity to get up close to these incredible creatures and witness their behavior from a different perspective.

Day 4: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park - Scenic Drive Through the Ugandan Highlands
After breakfast, you will begin your drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its population of endangered mountain gorillas. The drive will take you through some of Uganda’s most scenic landscapes, including the picturesque Ugandan highlands and rolling hills. It’s a journey of about 5-6 hours, so you will stop for lunch along the way and take in the breathtaking scenery.
Upon arrival at your lodge in Bwindi, you will check in, relax, and enjoy the tranquil surroundings of the forest. The evening is yours to unwind and prepare for the thrilling gorilla trekking adventure the next day.

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest - A Once-in-a-Lifetime Experience
This is the highlight of your safari: gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. After an early breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters for a briefing by experienced rangers about the gorilla trekking rules and safety guidelines. You will then be divided into groups, each assigned to a gorilla family to track.
The trek can take anywhere from 1 to 5 hours, depending on the location of the gorilla family. The terrain is steep and dense, but once you reach the gorillas, you will have one hour to observe them in their natural habitat. Watching these gentle giants interact, feed, and play is an experience you will never forget. The gorillas are highly endangered, and this close encounter will be a moving and unforgettable moment.
After the trek, return to your lodge to relax and enjoy a well-deserved meal. In the afternoon, you may choose to visit a Batwa village to learn about the indigenous people who once lived in the forest and have a rich cultural heritage.
