Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi – Transfer to Amboseli National Park
Upon arrival at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be greeted by your driver-guide. Begin your journey to Amboseli National Park (approx. 4-5 hours, 240 km). As you drive through the scenic countryside, you'll catch glimpses of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's tallest peak, looming in the background. Upon arrival at Amboseli National Park, check in to your lodge or camp and enjoy a relaxing lunch. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive in Amboseli, famous for its large elephant herds and stunning views of the mountain. The Park is also home to zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, and lions. Day 2: Amboseli National Park – Full Day Safari
After an early breakfast, enjoy a full day safari in Amboseli National Park. Start with a morning game drive to explore the park’s diverse wildlife and take in the spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Amboseli is renowned for its massive elephant herds, and it’s likely you'll have close-up encounters with these magnificent creatures. Return to your accommodation for a brunch and some time to relax. In the afternoon, continue your game drive, exploring other parts of the park in search of more wildlife, such as cheetahs, leopards, wildebeests, and numerous bird species. There’s also an opportunity to visit a nearby Maasai village, where you can learn about the Maasai culture and traditions. Day 3: Amboseli to Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, check out of your accommodation and drive to Lake Naivasha (approx. 5-6 hours, 250 km). Along the way, enjoy picturesque views of the Great Rift Valley. Upon arrival at Lake Naivasha, check in to your lodge and enjoy lunch. Lake Naivasha is a beautiful freshwater lake teeming with wildlife. In the afternoon, take a boat ride on the lake, where you’ll see hippos lounging by the shore and a wide variety of bird species, including herons, kingfishers, and flamingos (seasonally). If time permits, take a guided nature walk on Crescent Island, a private sanctuary where you can walk among giraffes, zebras, and gazelles. Day 4: Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, check out and begin your journey to the Masai Mara National Reserve (approx. 4-5 hours, 280 km). The drive takes you through the scenic Great Rift Valley, offering stunning views of the valley and surrounding hills. On arrival at the Masai Mara, check in to your lodge or camp   and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive in the Masai Mara, one of Africa's top wildlife destinations. The Mara is famous for its Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino) and abundant predators such as cheetahs and hyenas. Depending on the season, you may also witness the Great Migration, where thousands of wildebeest and zebras cross the Mara River in search of fresh grazing grounds. Day 5: Masai Mara – Full Day Safari – Return to Nairobi
After breakfast, you will enjoy an early morning game drive in the Masai Mara to witness the wildlife at its most active. The Mara is home to a wide range of animals, including lions, elephants, giraffes, and hippos, and you’ll have the chance to spot some of these iconic species as the sun rises over the savannah. Return to your lodge for breakfast and some leisure time. In the afternoon, take a second game drive through the reserve. This is another opportunity to explore different parts of the park and track predators like leopards or cheetahs. You may also opt to visit a local Maasai village for a cultural experience, learning about the Maasai people’s way of life and traditions. Afterward, check out and begin the drive back to Nairobi (approx. 5-6 hours). Upon arrival in Nairobi, you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight home or to a Nairobi hotel if you are extending your stay.
