Day 1: Arrival and First Game Drive
Your safari adventure begins with a flight from Nairobi to Masai Mara, where you’ll join the rest of the group. Upon arrival at the airstrip, your driver-guide will welcome you and transfer the group to your selected lodge or camp. This is an opportunity to meet your fellow safari-goers, settle into your accommodation, and prepare for your first exciting game drive. After a hearty lunch, embark on your first group game drive. The Masai Mara’s wide-open plains and rolling hills offer excellent game-viewing opportunities. You’ll have the chance to see the famous "Big Five" (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino) along with many other animals such as giraffes, cheetahs, wildebeest, zebras, and numerous bird species. Your experienced guide will offer informative commentary, sharing fascinating details about the ecosystem and wildlife. Day 2: Full Day Game Drive and Visit to a Maasai Village
After an early breakfast, your group will head out for a full day of adventure in the Mara. The early morning game drive is the best time to observe predators such as lions and cheetahs while they are most active. Your group will drive through the reserve, stopping at key wildlife hotspots to enjoy more sightings of elephants, giraffes, antelopes, and possibly even a rare leopard or cheetah. Enjoy the tranquility of the Mara at dawn as the sun rises over the savannah and the wildlife awakens. After the game drive, return to the lodge or camp for a delicious breakfast and a bit of relaxation before your departure. You’ll then be transferred to the airstrip for your return flight to Nairobi, where the group will disband as you head on to your next destination or enjoy some leisure time in the city.
